AP Test Registration Deadline:
If you have a student who is currently enrolled in an AP class, the time is here to make a final decision about whether they will be taking an Advanced Placement (AP) exam in May. Mrs. Templin has already visited every AP class and has given your student information about registering for AP exams.
Payment for AP tests must be made online for registration to be complete. Thursday, March 21st at midnight is the last opportunity to pay for an exam as we will be placing the AP orders the next day. Students have also been given a registration form that must also be completed and turned in to Mrs Templin in order to finalize registration for AP testing. This form is also available on the webstore when you pay.
AP Testing Payment can be made at the Sycamore School District Webstore under “High School” and “AP Testing”. The cost of AP testing is $94.00 per exam (or $53.00 per exam if you are on free or reduced lunch).

5Essential Survey – HELP!
We are asking parents to help us reach our goal of 20% participation in the 5Essential Survey. We are currently at 10%.
At least every other year, districts throughout Illinois are asked to participate in the 5Essential survey to gather information from our faculty, students and parents to gain insight in the key components of all successful schools. These areas include effective leaders, collaborative teachers, involved families, supportive environments, and ambitious instruction.
The results of the survey responses are reported back to the schools for their review and planning for future school improvement focus items within the five areas.
We need your assistance and your feedback. As a district, we have chosen to provide the opportunity for you, the parents/guardians of our students, to offer us feedback via the 5Essentials parent survey. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and can be completed on your smart device.
Your participation in the parent survey will help us understand the conditions here at the school and guide improvement. Your identity and individual survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
To take the survey, click here.
For more information about the Illinois 5Essentials Survey, please visit https://illinois.5-essentials.org.
Thank you, in advance, for your time and participation.
