Senior Awards Night

Join us for Senior Awards Night on Thursday, May 21, at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium. The deadline to be included in the Senior Awards Night slideshow is Friday, May 15. 

Submitting Senior Awards

Students can submit any awards, scholarships (from outside organizations, colleges/universities, or military enlistment) through this Google Form. Seniors who applied for scholarships through Naviance will be notified by mid-May regarding their award status for Senior Awards Night.

Graduation Practice

  • Arrive by 8:45 AM
  • Casual attire is appropriate; neither cap nor gown is needed for practice.
  • Graduation tickets (5 per student) are issued to graduates right after practice (as long as their Chromebook has been returned and the student has no outstanding fees).
  • Following graduation practice, additional tickets will be available for purchase at $10 each (cash/check payable to SHS).

Graduation Ceremony Details

Graduation will take place in the Fieldhouse at Sycamore High School on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Doors will open for admission at 1:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, while graduates are entering the Fieldhouse, attendees will not be allowed to enter. They may enter after the whole class has entered. Tickets may be purchased on graduation day from 1:00-2:00 PM (cash/check payable to SHS).

Seniors need to arrive by 1:15 PM.

If handicap parking for the event is needed, please email Mrs. Muir, Principal's Secretary, by Friday, May 15, for more information.

The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed. 

Chromebook Returns

When returning your Chromebook, please make sure of the following.

  • ALL NON-DISTRICT PROVIDED STICKERS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE DEVICE AND CASE and the Chromebook should not have any markings from pens, pencils, markers, etc.  Any Chromebook returned with any of the above will be marked as damaged and be subject to a damage/repair fee.

  • Your Chromebook should be charged and powered on when you come to the return area so that staff can verify the working condition of the device.

  • If you have any known issues with your Chromebook, please let the staff know when you turn it in.  Some examples of these types of covered issues are: keys that do not work, touchpad issues, screen “glitching”, OS errors, and crashing/restarting issues.

  • You must return your charger with your Chromebook.  If you do not return your charger, there is a $15 fee to replace a lost charger.

  • Your case (both pieces) should be on your device.  There is a $40 fee to replace a case that is not completely returned with your Chromebook.

  • Your Chromebook must be turned in, and any associated Chromebook fines paid (cash or check), before you will be issued your graduation tickets.

  • Google Suite Access: Your Google account will be deactivated on June 30.

    • Save or copy files you want to use after you graduate. You can do this from the Google TakeOut page. Use these instructions if you need help.

    • If you use your email address for anything you need after graduation, be sure to switch your account to a new email address.

  • Location: Outside the football field

  • Donations: Store-bought treats (veggie/fruit trays, cookies, chips, drinks, snacks) are appreciated. Drop off at the main office by noon on Thursday, May 21st.
