Prerequisites: Must maintain a “B” average to remain in this class. A student will be dropped at the semester if a “B” average is not maintained
Credit: 1/2 per Semester

Students who are exempted from PE for any reason (ex. Band, Sports) may not register for this class due to the sequential nature of curriculum.

This class may be offered Zero Hour. Transportation will not be provided.

Mind Body Fitness offers new and exciting ways to learn about your fitness while increasing it! Students will take part in group fitness formats like, but not limited to, Pilates, Step, ZUMBA, Strength (with body bars, dumbbells, exercise bands, etc), Yoga, TABATA, etc. Mind Body Fitness emphasizes knowledge of the five health-related fitness components of cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition while participating in daily group fitness based classes. Students study Yoga twice a week and focus on the founding principles of breath and posture and create a Yoga Vision Board.
