Athletic and Extracurricular Registration Information

(Full Time at Sycamore CUSD, Part Time at Sycamore CUSD or Home-Schooled Students)

1. Go to sycamorespartans.com

2. Click Registration 

3. If you do not have an account, create an account on Snap Manage

a. You can use the same account for multiple children

4. Complete the registration for the sport or activity your student wishes to participate in during this current school year.

a. All Middle School sports and activities are labeled Middle School.

b. If not labeled, it is for the High School.

c. Please make sure you select the correct sport or activity, the Athletic Office cannot switch the registration, you will need to complete the process again.  The Athletic Office can delete registrations that are incorrect.

5. Pay all Athletic Fees or Participation Fees for clubs.

a. These fees will be assessed through Infinite Campus and can be paid in your family’sportal.

b. Each sport is $125, with a family maximum of $310.

c. Waivers can be requested through the business office.

d. Each activity fee will vary depending on the organization.

6. Anyone participating in a sport is required to supply a current Athletic Physical.  These can be turned in to the Athletic Office at the High School and the Main Office at the Middle School.

a. Physicals are good for 395 days.

b. School Physicals in 6th Grade and 9th Grade can also be used as Athletic Physicals.

c. The IHSA/IESA Physical form is on the Athletic Website.

7. Full Time students must be enrolled in a minimum of five (5) classes to participate in IHSA/IESA Activities.

a. Eligibility is checked weekly

i. Students must be passing five (5) classes to be eligible for the IHSA.

ii. Students must be passing all classes to be eligible for the IESA.

b. Students must pass five (5) classes in a semester to be eligible to participate in any school sponsored sport or activity the following semester.

8. Part Time students are not allowed to participate in any IHSA/IESA sports or activities.

a. Part Time students may participate in all non IHSA/IESA sports or activities.

b. Part Time students must also be passing all classes to participate.

9. Home School students must meet the follow requirement to participate in IHSA/IESA Sports and Activities (School Board Policy 7.40):

a. Be enrolled in a minimum of one (1) class in the Sycamore CUSD #427.

i. Could be a dual credit class through an accredited college or community college.

b. Be enrolled in a minimum of four (4) in an approved Home School program.

c. Eligibility is checked weekly

i. Students must be passing five (5) classes to be eligible for the IHSA.

ii. Students must be passing all classes to be eligible for the IESA.

iii. Parents need to submit weekly grades to the Director of Athletic via email by 3:00 pm every Wednesday during an athletic season.

d. Students must pass five (5) classes in a semester to be eligible to participate in any school sponsored sport or activity the following semester.

i. Parents need to submit final semester grades to the Director of Athletics via email within 48 hours of the semester grades being finalized.
