Greetings Students & Parents,

I’m looking forward to this 2016-2017 school year here at Sycamore High School.  Getting to know staff and students has been a great experience, and building on the relationships that I’ve established is my goal for this year.  I recognize that high school can bring a variety of challenges and change for the students, and if there are any concerns, questions, or issues that you might have, please contact me and we can discuss it.  My ultimate goal is to see all the students complete their education here at Sycamore High School, leave here with a diploma, and move on to bigger and better things in their lives.  Please contact me if there is anything I can do to assist you.

Sincerely,
Ofc. Ryan Hooper

Quick 50

The “Quick Fifty” program is a program which operates at Sycamore Middle School and Sycamore High School through the DeKalb County IL Crime Stoppers (Sheriff’s Office).
The purpose of the Quick Fifty program is to recover stolen property, weapons or drugs, or any information leading to an arrest in a crime which has occurred or about to occur. This applies in the middle school and the high school.
DeKalb County Crime Stoppers is a very long running program which has helped to solve many crimes in the county. Quick Fifty is a cash reward up to 100 dollars, where an anonymous person (student) may report to the school administration or Police such things as drugs or weapons in the schools. The quick fifty has, in the past 6 years, recovered drugs and weapons from SHS and SMS.
